Condition

The panel is sound and examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There is evidence of old frame abrasion along the extreme edges including a horizontal line indented in the paint layer towards the centre of the upper edge. There are minor and extremely fine lines of stable craquelure in places, notably to the green pigments in the lower right corner. This work is overall very good condition.
