Condition
The panel is sound. Examination under UV light reveals an uneven varnish, which is difficult to read through. However, there appears to be a line of inpainting in the shadow of the bowl on the tray (approximately 3cm. long). There is an extremely minor and seemingly stable vertical crack, consistent with the grain of the panel, to the edge of the silver tray on the lower centre of the composition. This work is in overall good condition.
