Condition
The bronze is sound. There is some rubbing to the extremities, particularly to the base consistent with age and handling. There is some loss to the ebonised surface to the underside of the flat circular section, and further scattered minor spots of loss to the surface. There is evidence of dirt in the crevices; as well as, a discoloured residue to the upper section surrounding the perforated hole. This work is in overall good condition, and might benefit from a clean.
