Description

  • 20.9 cm, 8 1/4  in.
with deep rounded sides resting on a tapering foot, applied with an even white glaze, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within a double circle

Christie's Hong Kong, 27th October 2003, lot 608.

Condition

There is an approx. 9 cm L-shaped hairline crack to the rim. There are also characteristic expected firing imperfections, including firing lines to the foot and kiln flakes to the footring.
