Description

Featuring a 3.09 carat rectangular step-cut red spinel, in a brushed gold and blackened gold mounting, size 6½.

Condition

In good condition, the mounting with very light scratches visible upon close inspection. Mounting tests as 22 karat gold. The spinel is slightly purplish red, slightly included. Accompanied by AGL report no. 8087864 dated May 18, 2018 stating that the spinel is of Burmese origin, with no indications of treatment. Please note that this lot is mounted in blackened silver and gold, not brushed gold and blackened gold, as previously stated in the printed catalogue.
