Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. The lacquer presents with some surface scratches, a few dents, instances of light wear and some small chips, mostly concentrated along the edges and the legs, all consistent with age and use. The edges of the bottom of the legs presents with more significant and large chips of lacquer and of wood. The lacquer presents with instances of wear and scattered previous restorations, including some heavy-handed ones, mostly concentrated along the legs and the edges. There are a few hairline cracks on the lacquer, mostly concentrated the seams, consistent with age and use. The ebonised wood on the underside presents with scattered scratches and scattered cracks, all consistent with age and use.
