Condition

Good overall condition. The panel presents with some surface soiling and a few very light surface scratches, consistent with age and use. The silver lacquer presents with some instances of wear and with losses consistent with age and use. There is a horizontal hairline craquelure along the proper right edge of the panel on approximately 3 cm, slightly visible in the catalogue illustration. The lacquer presents with some tiny surface scratches throughout the black lacquer, that appear to be the result of a previous attempt of cleaning the surface. There are some very shallow and small indentations to the lacquer, concentrated between the elbow and the knee of the standing figure. The lower edge of the panel presents with some wear. This lot has not been unframed for condition checking as the lacquered frame appears to be the original one.
