  • All vases by Just Andersen stamped JUST, four of them stamped DENMARK and numbered B171, 1940, 1940, 1925 or 1927 on the underside ; the GAB vase stamped GAB, BRONS and numbered 159 on the underside
  • The tallest : 26 x 18,6 cm ; 10 1/4 x 7 3/8 in.

Condition

Good overall condition. The bronze presents with scattered scratches, scattered minute dents, instances of wear to the patina and some instances of oxidation with a few oxidation stains, all consistent with age and use. One vase presents with scattered losses of patina. Surface soiling throughout. JUST ANDERSEN : The tallest (dimensions given above). The pair of vases : 24,5 x 20 cm Vase with two handles : 21 x 14 cm - engraved "1906 - 1/2 - 1946" Vase with four handles : 18 x 15 x 15 cm GAB : Vase with two handles : height : 26 cm - engraved "Till allas vår, Johan, L III 4 39"
