Envoi autographe signé à sa mère, sur le premier feuillet banc à l'encre noire : "à ma chèremaman sous le signe du bonheur de Paul -- c'est à dire du nôtre. [petit cœur dessiné].Jean" Jean Cocteau fait ici allusion au mariage de son frère aîné Paul en mars 1925 avec Marcelle Rageote, fille du journaliste Gaston Rageote, futur président de la Société des Gens de Lettres.
