In-12 (184 x 115 mm). Bradel cartonné noir, couverture et dos (G. Schroeder). Quelques rousseurs aux premiers feuillets. Édition originale. Émouvant envoi autographe signé à sa mère : "à ma chèremaman, àla seule vraieraison qui me permette de vivreJean". Raymond Radiguet vient de mourir emporté par la typhoïde à l'âge de vingt ans. Dans sa magnifique Préface au Bal du comte d'Orgel, parue chez Grasset l'année suivante, Cocteau écrit : "Raymond Radiguet est né le 18 juin 1903 ; il est mort sans le savoir, le 12 décembre 1923, après une vie miraculeuse".
