Condition

In general, the work is in good overall conditions. There are a few wrinkles around the drawings due to the original lining. There are slight traces of dirt along the edges. There are some stains along the lower edge. There are two pinpointed holes by the upper corners. There are a few slight marks of pressure towards the center of the right margin, towards the upper side of the left margin and towards the right side of the lower margin. From the white bleached areas near the pink tempera, visible also on the reverse, it appears that the colours along the central part of the work have faded due to direct exposure to light and the use of synthetic dyes by the artist.

Catalogue Note
