Condition
With thread margins above and below, trimmed unevenly at left and right on or just outside the plate mark, in generally good condition apart from a central horizontal fold (broken through in places) backed verso with touches of grey wash, a few small backed losses towards the upper sheet edge with grey wash, two minute stains in the background to the left of the figure an in the pages of the book (further small stains visible under a raking light), a small horizontal area of paper thinning towards the upper and lower sheet edges, uneven paper discoloration in the blank area below the subject, unframed.
