- 'Collection d'un grand amateur' , sold, Ader Picard Tajan, Paris, 18 March 1981, lot 42 (illustrated). The sale catalogue stated that this set of seat furniture was used to decorate the rooms which were used by Pope Pius VII at the château de Vaulserre during his journey to Paris where he was to officiate at the coronation of Napoleon I.
