Description

Of scrolling foliage design, set to the centre with a baroque pearl, suspending a drop shaped natural pearl and circular-cut diamond pendant, later added detachable brooch fitting.

Condition

Accompanied by GCS, report no. 5777-8478, stating that the pearl is natural, saltwater, with no indications of treatment, measuring approximately 13.6 x 9.5 x 7.0mm. Pearls of cream body colour, yellowish overtones, medium-high lustre, light scratches to surfaces, some typical growth imperfections and tiny areas of loss to nacre on drop-shaped pearl. Diamond with chips. Scratches to metal surfaces and areas to reverse with light reddish discolouration. Brooch fitting slightly bent and with light play, closes securely. Length approximately 67 x 62mm. Gross weight approximately 28 grams. Overall condition good.
