Of geometric design centring on a lozenge-shaped plaque, millegrain-set with circular- and single-cut diamonds and calibré-cut rubies, length approximately 175mm, maker's mark, several rubies and diamonds deficient.

Condition

Clasp tongue stamped PT 950 for platinum, numbered 1625, maker's mark with deer and initials FE. Diamonds bright and lively, central diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.00 carats, estimated to be I-J colour, approximately SI2 clarity, as graded and gauged within the limitations of the mount. Estimated total weight of remaining diamonds approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, mixed colour and clarity grades, several diamonds deficient. Rubies pinkish red, with typical inclusions visible under close magnification, some with areas of wear and chipping to facet edges. Several rubies deficient. Links well-articulated, clasp secure, with additional safety catch and safety chain. Evidence of lead solder repair to rivet at one corner of central motif, with associated discolouration. Light scratches consistent with wear. Overall condition commensurate with age. Gross weight approximately 24 grams.
