Description

Of festoon design, composed of floral and foliate motifs set with circular-, single-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, to a detachable chain-link necklace, length approximately 400mm, Austro-Hungary assay and indistinct maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped with Austro-Hungary assay marks for 14 carat gold and city mark for Wien/Vienna and indistinct maker's mark. The two central diamonds measuring approximately 6.2 x 6.15 x 4.1mm and 5.9 x 6.0 x 4.0mm. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.00-5.50 carats, estimated clarity I, some SI2, colour variations. Scratches and discolouration to metal. Clasp closes securely. Overall condition commensurate with age and wear.
