Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is minor wear to the edges of the canvas, likely caused by the artist's frame. There are scattered watermarks, visible upon very close inspection. There are two linear abrasions below the treasure chest in the center of the painting. There is a minor area of rubbing with an associated area of pinpoint losses, visible upon close inspection. There is general wear to the artist's frame, and what appears to be tape residue to the upper edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed in artist's chosen frame.
