Condition
The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals lines of retouching (the larger of which is approx. 9 cm long) towards the right part of the upper edge, a spot of retouching (approx. 7 cm wide) to the lower right quadrant, spots of retouching (the larger of which is approx. 5 cm wide) to the upper left quadrant and further smaller spots and lines of retouching in places. Close inspection reveals networks of stable craquelure throughout the composition and dots of paint losses in places, notably to the upper left quadrant (approx. 17 cm from left edge and 26 cm from upper edge) and towards the centre of the lower edge (approx. 9 cm from lower edge and 45 cm from right edge). This work is in overall fairly good condition.
