Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, and hinged to the overmount in two points at the lower right and left corners. The sheet is slightly undulating. The left and lower edges are unevenly cut. There is a pinhole at the upper right corner. There is a small repaired tear (approx. 1 cm long) to the lower left corner. There is a small crease to the upper left corner and a few flattened creases in places, notably to the lady's back and legs. The ink appears to have slightly faded. There is some minor paint shrinkage to the most thickly applied black pigment. The sheet is light stained with a few scattered dots of foxing. This work is in overall good condition.
