ink and gouache heightened with gold on paper, 6 lines to the page written above and below the painting, written in nasta’liq in black ink within clouds against a gold ground, ruled in red, green, gold and blue, outer margins filled with large scrolling flowers, the reverse with 25 lines of text

Ex-collection Joe and Hellen Darion, New York.
Purchased from the dealer A. Demirdjian (pencil inscription on reverse of backboard 'No.24 A. Demerdijian' and mentioned in personal inventory).

Condition

In good condition, minor stains and and minor folds, minor flaking and losses to the paint which though remains bright, traces of restoration to the borders and remains of cellotape, as viewed.
