Arabic manuscript on paper, 176 pages plus 4 fly-leaves, 11 lines to the page, written in naskh script in black ink within clouds against a gold ground, ruled in red, verses separated by gold pointed rosettes, headings in white script against a gold ground, numerous paintings, including those of Mecca and Medina and hilyes, catchwords, opening folio with gold and polychrome heading, in morocco binding decorated with gilt floral scrolls, with flap

Condition

In generally good condition, the margins cropped, rebound, (in some cases apparent with associated restoration), some wear and areas a little loose around binding, paper generally clean although some discoloration as consistent with age and use, rubbing and staining, as viewed.
