Description

  • 17cm.
of waisted form with polychrome enamel decoration depicting a mother with child and other figural scenes in cartouches amid flowers on a gold ground, inscription panels along the lower edge, with attached silver suspension loops and chains

Condition

The enamel mainly bright, some hairline cracks to surface, minor chips to extremities, small dents and oxidisation to metal, the wooden base possibly later addition, the suspension chains placed into the enamel, the internal encrusted stone discolored, as viewed.
