Description

  • bowl: 11.5cm. height; 33.5cm. diam.dish: 24.5cm. diam.
the larger of deep round form with moulded, everted rim, on a small pedestal-shape foot, decorated in underglaze blue, green yellow and bole red with floral design, the smaller dish with red, blue, mauve, green and yellow on a cream ground, decorated with floral designs and chinoiserie motifs

Condition

The larger bowl intact, with some small chips to rim and associated retouching with white paint, remnants of old label to underside; the smaller dish with horizontal break held together with metal retainer, small losses to red and yellow to centre, as viewed.
