  • 25.4cm. diam. 
of shallow form on short footring, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, greyish-green, bole red with black outlines, central stylised rumi detail to centre, border with entwined tulips, old collector's label to underside '1540', one drill to the rim

Acquired in Alexandria, 1950s.
In Switzerland by 1962.

Condition

Intact, light abrasion and small chips to external rim, some abrasion to bole red edge, drill-hole to foot, one hairline crack to glaze near edge, remnants of old collection label, as viewed.
