Description

  • 23.5cm. height
fritware, underglaze-painted in green with blue and black lines, featuring entwining palmettes, the neck painted ensuite, the handle with cursory dashes

Condition

Part of the surface of the body probably once heavily fritted (visible grazing and hairline cracks) and subsequently cleaned, restored, including overpainting and re-infill of red bole spots and over-sprayed, the rest of the body with some craquelure, minor chips on rim, one section near edge broken and restored, as viewed.
