Condition

Overall in very good condition. The glass throughout with air bubbles and particulate inclusions, inherent to the production, and with faint surface scratches, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use. One of the glass leaves to the lower tier is missing; the piece can be arranged in such a way that this is not visually detractive. The exterior and interior of the lower central glass element of the lamp with some minor surface soiling. A few of the metal elements connecting the leaves to the central unit have been replaced with plaster. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician. A masterful offering of Murano glass representative of mid-century Italian design.
