Overall very good condition. The shade is finely decorated with vigorous wave-form decoration, and the shade exterior is beautifully iridized, imparting the shade with strong luminosity and brilliant jewel-tone hues when viewed with reflected light. The glass with some scattered minor air bubbles and inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The glass surfaces with some scattered extremely minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The upper aperture of the shade with expected chips around the edge, not visible when the shade and base are assembled. The interior of the shade with a small glass inclusion on the surface measuring approximately 1/2 inch wide. The base presents with a rich russet brown patina with scattered light surface scratches, abrasions, and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The adjustable shade clasp is slightly loose and would benefit from being mechanically tightened by a professional conservator. A strong example of this model displaying exceptional decoration and coloration to the favrile shade and a deep rich patina to the bronze base.
