Minor paint loss above the upper green hill. One diagonal scuff in the foreground . Under UV light retouching above the signature visible. Very good condition.

Catalogue Note

Félix Valotton made a pencil drawing of this painting in a sketchbook, which he used during his stay in Locquirec in summer 1902. This sketchbook is currently in the collection of the archive of the Fondation Félix Valotton in Lausanne.
The first owner of this painting, Mr. Berrus, acquired three other landscapes by Valotton from an exhibition at the gallery Bernheim-Jeune:  L'orage (1900/cat. rais. Nr. 303), Environs de Romanel, temps gris (1900/cat. rais. Nr. 320) und Vue de Locquirec (1902/cat. rais. Nr. 417).

This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Fondation Félix Vallotton.

Félix Vallotton hat eine Bleistiftzeichnung zu diesem Gemälde angefertigt im Skizzenbuch, welches er während seines Aufenthaltes im Sommer 1902 in Locquirec verwendet hatte. Dieses Skizzenbuch befindet sich heute im Archiv der Fondation Félix Vallotton in Lausanne.
Der erste Eigentümer dieses Gemäldes, Herr Berrus, erwarb aus der Ausstellung in der Galerie Bernheim-Jeune drei weitere Landschaftsbilder von Vallotton: L'orage (1900/cat. rais. Nr. 303), Environs de Romanel, temps gris (1900/cat. rais. no. 320) und Vue de Locquirec (1902/cat. rais. no. 417).
