- cyanotype
unique cyanotype, initialed and numbered '10309' in pencil on the reverse, mounted, framed, Wallspace Gallery, New York, and Shpilman Institute for Photography Collection labels on the reverse, 2009
Provenance
Shpilman Institute for Photography Collection, Tel Aviv
Christie's Paris, 20 November 2015, Sale 4041, Lot 315
Condition
This cyanotype print is in generally excellent condition. The blue color remains vibrant, with no apparent fading.
The handling creases, abrasions to the emulsion, and minor soiling that are noticeable overall, are assumed to be inherent to the photographer's working process. There is nearly indiscernible chipping along the left edge.
The print is lifting at the edges from the mount, presumably a result of the mounting process. The reverse of the print could not be examined in its entirety.
