Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition. The construction is firm. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. Each foot has been reinforced with a new piece of wood to the end. The front right hand side foot has been restored to the carving with gomme laque paste filling. There are nails traces to the inside border of the backrest which consist in an ancient stretched fabric. There are old woodworms traces filled with gomme laque paste. The fabric is in good overall condition. Nice carving and design. Ready to place and use.
