Condition

Both executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, affixed to the mount at intermittent points along the extreme edges; the works are sandwiched in the mount and have not been examined fully unframed. (i) Saint-Tropez, goélette à quai: The sheet is lightly light-stained and there are a few spots of foxing in areas notably to the green pigment towards the centre of the composition. This work is in very good condition. (ii) Saint-Guénolé: There is a slight brightness to the paper, possibly inherent to the artist's choice of medium. There is a faint crease running diagonally to the upper right corner. Apart from some minor light-staining to the sheet, this work is in very good condition.
