Painted on four independant pieces of canvas joined together by the artist; these have been lined. There are some very fine lines of craquellure in the thicker pigment. There are a small dot and a tiny spot of retouching in the blue pigment towards the centre of the composition and possibly some further lines of retouching along the lower edge.
