Very good condition for an object of this type and great age. Marks, nicks, scratches, and abrasions throughout, consistent with age and use. Some minor age cracks. Edges of eyes worn. An open crack at top of reverse. Some holes for attachment with chipping and losses. Fine aged layers of crusty red, black, and white pigment crumbling in some places. Two cracks to either side of outer edges. Two old labels on reverse, one with indistinct address, the other typed with 'L.78.58'.
