Two works on paper: 1. Conquistador the artist's sheet has been hinged to the mount at its four corners; the lower right corner is loose. There are some light folding lines in the lower right and lower left corners and some minor, isolated spots of foxing in the background in the right hand side. Colours are strong and vivid. This picture is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang. Presented glazed, in a white frame. 2. Courtisane The artist's sheet is loose. There are some scuffs in the extreme framing edges, notably in the upper and lower edges as visible in the catalogue illustration, including a folding line in the lower left corner and a circa 4cm tear in the centre of the lower edge. A diagonal folding line is also visible upon close inspection in the upper half of the composition. Colours are strong and the work presents well. Overall, this work is in good condition and ready to hang. Presented glazed, in a simple gilt frame with a beige inner slip.
