Condition
The canvas is original. There is a circa 3cm tear in the figure's chest, as visible in the catalogue illustration, and some vertical stretcher bar marks are visible in the centre of the composition. Ultra-violet light reveals no visible sign of retouching. With the exception of the aforementioned tear, which could benefit from restoration, this work is overall in good condition.
Presented in a green wooden frame, painted by the artist.
