Condition

Overall very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. Scattered wear, scuffs and minor marks and chips to the bases of the feet. The top right proper corner to one chair with an element of wood that has been professionally and sensitively replaced, measuring approximately 2 x 3 cm. One chair with the tips of two of the bases of the legs replaced, each measuring approximately 1 cm high. The front right proper leg of the same chair has been professionally reattached, and a seam measuring approximately 5 cm is visible from the front of the chair, as are two circular dowel veneers on the outer side of the leg where the restoration took place. The rear left leg of one chair with a very minor loss of wood measuring approximately 3 cm running vertically along one edge. Two minor dark marks to the top rear left backrest of one chair. Minor seam separation concentrated to the backrests on some chairs. The upholstery is newer, and each chair comes supplied with a cloth cover. The Ruhlmann stamps may have been added later.
