Provenance
Ladislav Sutnar, Prague, by 1936 (Sutnar (1897 – 1976), was a Bohemian designer who implemented Constructivist language into advertising and industrial design. He studied painting at the School of Applied Arts and later taught design at the State School for Graphic Arts in Prague. He moved to the United States in 1939.)

The chrome-plated steel egg cup in this photo was designed by Ladislav Sutnar. Sudek often took photographs of Sutnar's design pieces, transforming these objects into surreal compositions.
