Condition
The board appears sound. Upon close inspection, there are some fine lines of craquelure to the black and green pigments in the centre of the composition, with a few tiny associated losses, which have been consolidated. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
The work is presented in a painted and gilded wooden frame, held under glass.
Ultraviolet light reveals some very small flecks of retouching to the dark green-black pigment in the lower centre.
