Comprising a brooch, ring and pair of earclips, the swirled brooch set with round and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.30 carats, accented by round and oval-shaped rubies and turquoise cabochons, signed John Rubel & Co.; the ring of bombé form, set with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.10 carats, accented by round rubies and turquoise cabochons, size 5½, with French export mark; the earclips of swirled design, set with round diamonds weighing approximately .75 carat, accented by round rubies and turquoise cabochons.


All pieces in good general condition with wear commensurate with age. CLIP-BROOCH: Lively pinkish red rubies, lightly to moderately included rubies. Some turquoises with greenish discoloration but not distracting. Diamonds approximately F-G color, VS clarity. Signature on an applied plaque which has been shaved down to fit the mounting. Length 2 1/2 inches. EARCLIPS: Medium-deep, slightly pinksish red rubies; slightly to moderately included. Minor discoloration to turquoise. Diamonds approximately G-H, VS-SI clarity. RING: Nicking to the base of the shank commensurate with regular wear. Rubies medium to deep red and decorative in quality; turquoise with varying degrees of discoloration; diamonds near colorless and decorative in quality. Bearing a nice weight, approximately 14 dwts.
