Description
- Sapphire, Diamond, Silver, Gold
Designed as an ivy branch with pavé-set circular-cut blue, pink and purple sapphires, embellished with old European-cut diamonds, mounted in silver-topped gold, the brooch can be detached into three sections, signed Moira.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: The sapphires and coloured sapphires together weighing approximately 18.00 carats. In our opinion, the sapphires are of light to medium tone, blue to intense blue colour; and the coloured sapphires are of very light to light tone, from purple to purplish pink to pink colour. Under the 10x loupe inspection, majority of the sapphires and coloured sapphires are with minor typical inclusions (some are moderately included). There are also minor pits and chips but not visible to the naked eye. The diamonds together weighing approximately 1.50 carats, mainly about I to K colour (with a few P to Q colour), mainly VS to SI clarity (with a few I1 clarity). Signed.
Condition: Antique-style silver-topped gold mount. Silver and gold shows signs of discolouration and minor wear. Overall condition is very good.
