The brooch designed as an orchid, with applied coloured enamel petals and single-cut diamond and cabochon ruby sepels, to the single- and old European-cut diamond stem, mounted in silver-topped gold, 18 karat yellow and blackened gold, signed Moira.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the diamonds together weighing approximately 3.50 carats, are about I to J colour, mainly VS clarity (with a few SI clarity), The cabochon rubies together weighing approximately 0.50 carat, are of medium to medium-strong purplish red, with minor typical natural inclusions upon 10x loupe inspection. The enamel of iridescent effect in blue, purple and orangy red hues. Condition: Silver-topped gold, karat yellow and blackened gold mount. Shows signs of discolouration on yellow gold and minor wear. Overall in very good condition.
