Description

  • Peridot, Sapphire, Green Garnet, Diamond, Gold
Designed as a cushion-shaped peridot weighing 42.76 carats, with a bird resting atop decorated with pavè-set circular-cut yellow sapphires, green garnets, diamonds and sapphires, mounted in 18 karat white, yellow and blackened gold.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the GRS report, the peridot is natural, with no indication of thermal treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the peridot is of medium yellowish green colour, eye clean and good brilliance. Under the 10x loupe inspection, there are minor natural inclusions but not visible when worn, with minor pits on the crown facets and girdle, and minor pits and scratches on the pavilion facets, but all are not noticeable to the naked eye. The green garnets are medium intense yellowish green colour; the yellow sapphires are light yellow colour; the sapphire cabochon is medium-strong blue colour; and the melee diamonds are about H to I colour, VS clarity. Condition: Karat white, yellow and blackened gold mount. Overall in mint condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
