Diamond and Rhodolite Garnet 'Butterfly' Brooch, Carnet

Designed as a butterfly, the flexible wings embellished with rose-cut diamonds and rhodolite garnets, the body set with rose-cut diamonds and diamond beads to the front and pavè-set brown diamonds to the reverse, decorated by diamond rondelle antennae, mounted in platinum, signed.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rhodolite garnets together weighing approximately 4.00 carats, medium pinkish purple to purple colour, eye clean. The diamonds together weighing approximately 4.00 carats, about G to H and J to K colour, VS to SI clarity. To the reverse, the melee diamonds are about medium to medium deep tone, yellowish brown to orangy brown colour. Signed on the fitting of the brooch. Condition: Platinum mount, one of the antennae with yellowish stain at the tip, otherwise overall condition is very good.
