Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there are fewer magenta undertones in the original. Condition: This work is in very good and original condition. Close inspection reveals some light burnishing and spots of oxidisation in isolated places, all of which are likely to be original. Very close inspection in raking light reveals a few shallow surface scratches in isolated places, as well as some superficial dirt in some of the recesses, all of which are characteristic of the artist's chosen medium's natural ageing process.
