The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality tends more towards cobalt.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection in raking light reveals a few irregular spots of pigment towards the centre right of the composition, which are likely to be original. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
