Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the white tends towards true white in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the three-dimensional nature of the work visible in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a few faint and unobtrusive rubmarks in isolated places towards the edges of both panels, and a thin vertical hairline crack running parallel to the right edge of the black panel. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
