Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and the background tends more towards lilac in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is floating between the mount and glazing. The edges are irregularly cut and there is some very light mount staining around the extreme outer edges. Close inspection reveals a few light handling creases and tiny isolated media accretions along the extreme outer edges. Very close inspection reveals a few slightly compressed impasto peaks.
