Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there are more turquoise undertones and the overall tonality is brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some tension cracks running intermittently along the edges and a few pinprick sized and unobtrusive punctures in isolated places. Further close inspection reveals some minor canvas draw towards the corners and some evidence of light wear to all four corner tips. Further extremely close inspection reveals a few very fine and unobtrusive scratches which are characteristic of the artist's work and possibly original. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
