Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality of the lower panel is lighter in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the three-dimensional nature of the fabric visible in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some discolouration to the glue residue in places, and a few isolated pulled threads to some of the edges of the fabric, which is in keeping with the artist's working process and choice of media. All collaged elements are stable.
