Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper and warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light wear to all four corner tips. Close inspection reveals a few fine tension cracks running intermittently along the extreme outer edges. There is some light buckling and a few abrasions to the canvas in the upper left quadrant. Extremely close inspection reveals a small number of tiny and unobtrusive media accretions in a few isolated places. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
